Accessibility Statement

This statement applies to keelo.cloud and to the Keelo platform, run by Keelo, a KBI Group venture.

Last updated: 24 September 2026

What we aim for

Keelo is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 at level AA. That is the standard used across UK public services, and we hold the product to it.

Accessibility is treated as part of the build, not a pass at the end. Every new screen is checked before it ships.

What we have done

Text and background colours are checked for contrast, and the action colour is used only for actions.

Every control can be reached and used with a keyboard alone, and the focus ring is always visible.

Buttons, inputs and dialogs use standard roles and labels, so screen readers announce them properly.

Text resizes to 200 per cent without losing content, and the layout works down to a small phone.

Nothing important is carried by colour alone, and there is no flashing content.

Plain British English throughout, with short sentences and no jargon.

Known limitations

Some charts summarise numbers visually. Where that happens the same figures are available as text nearby.

Documents and images generated for you take their accessibility from the content you supply, so alt text on your own uploads is worth adding.

Third-party sign-in screens, such as Google or Xero, are outside our control.

Tell us when something is hard to use

If any part of Keelo is difficult to use, email kate@thekbigroup.com with the page and what happened. We aim to reply within five working days and to fix accessibility faults ahead of other work.

If you are not happy with our response, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service.
